ENROLLMENT
The Oologah-Talala Public School District welcomes all students who live within the district's boundaries and meet state age and health requirements. For specific enrollment information, please contact your child's school. If you need to find out which school your child will attend, please use the School Finder to look up the attendance boundaries for your address.

Only a parent or legal guardian may enroll a student.

If the student lives with someone other than a parent (e.g., a grandparent or relative), legal guardianship documentation must be provided.

All individuals listed on the student’s birth certificate are presumed to have enrollment rights unless legal documentation (such as a court order) restricts access.

Proof of Residency Requirements
To verify residency, you must provide one of the following documents in the name of the parent or legal guardian:

A recent electric bill
-
A mortgage statement
-
A rental/lease agreement
If none of these documents are available in your name, you must submit the following:

A notarized Proof of Residency Affidavit, and
-
One of the above documents (electric bill, mortgage statement, or rental agreement) from the property owner of the claimed residence.

Immunization Documentation
REQUIRED for incoming Pre-K, Kindergarten, and 7th Grade only
An updated immunization record or an approved exemption form must be submitted if applicable for your student.
Important: All incoming 7th grade students are required to provide documentation of their T-Dap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis) immunization or submit a valid exemption form. This documentation must be on file prior to the start of the school year.
Beginning this year, all exemption requests must be submitted online. Once approved, it is the parent or guardian’s responsibility to provide the exemption documentation directly to the school. Paper exemption forms will no longer be accepted.
Important: Previously approved paper exemptions remain valid and do not need to be resubmitted—unless your student is entering 7th grade. In that case, a new exemption must be submitted through the online system.Parent/Guardian ID (both parents)

🏫 OTPS 2025–2026 Enrollment
Enrollment for grades K–12 opens on March 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM.
All current students must complete enrollment annually to remain registered for the upcoming school year.
✅ Steps to Enroll Current Students for the 2025–2026 School Year

Log in to Wengage/Sylogist: Sylogist Login

Click on the Student Records Portal.

Select "Enroll Student – 2025–2026" next to the name of the student you are enrolling.

Verify Student Information:
-
Ensure that the student's demographic details are accurate.
-
Make any necessary updates, then click “Save and Continue to Step 2.”
-
Important: The student’s name must match their birth certificate — do not enter an alternate last name.

Confirm Student Relations (Emergency Contacts):

Review and update emergency contact and authorized pick-up information.
-
Confirm all listed phone numbers and addresses are accurate.
-
Include an email address for all parents/legal guardians.
-
Parents listed on the birth certificate will automatically have access to student records unless legal documentation states otherwise.

Step 3: Upload Required Documents

📘 Enrollment FAQs – 2025–2026 School Year
Q1: When does enrollment open for current students?
A: Enrollment opens March 24, 2025, at 8:00 AM for all students in grades K–12.
Q2: Does my student need to enroll again if they’re already attending OTPS?
A: Yes. All current students are required to re-enroll every year to ensure accurate records and continued enrollment.
Q3: How do I access the enrollment system?
A: Visit Sylogist Login and log in to your Wengage/Sylogist account. From there, click on the Student Records Portal to begin.
Q4: What if I don’t have a utility bill or lease in my name for proof of residency?

Q5: Do both parents need to provide identification?
