Update! The prisoner has been apprehended by law enforcement and the lockdown has been lifted. Thank you for your patience!

Good morning! We have been made aware that a prisoner has gone missing from an event at PSO. All buildings are going into lockdown until we are given the all clear from law enforcement. We do not believe we are in any immediate danger, but we are taking all necessary precautions to keep our students safe. Additional law enforcement personnel is coming to ensure the district stays secure. We will update you when we have more information. Thank you for your trust and understanding!

Good morning! All buses have arrived safely at campus. Thank you for your patience and trust, and thank you to the OTPS Transportation Department for keeping our students safe! If you are still traveling to school, please be safe and please do not worry if your student will be late. We will be flexible with families who are running behind!

Good morning! Due to the storm, some of our buses are still trying to complete their routes. We will update parents once all buses have arrived safely at school. Thank you for your patience!

Good evening! Tomorrow will be an extremely heavy day for traffic on campus due to several activities taking place during the day. If you plan to come on campus, please allow extra time and be careful to watch for additional students and buses on the road and in parking lots. Thank you!

Good afternoon Mustang Families! This is a reminder that tomorrow is a distance learning day for all Oologah students. We are making up one of the snow days we took in February. Information for assignments will be available through your child's classroom Remind or Google Classroom. Also, don't forget that next week is Spring Break! We will look forward to seeing your student back on campus on March 24th!

Good morning! We wanted to reach out this morning to let you know of a leadership change at OLE. Mrs. Bell has recently submitted her resignation, and Scott Doss has joined the OLE team to serve as Interim Principal for the remainder of the school year. Mr. Doss has previously been the Assistant Principal at OLE and has most recently served as the Assistant Principal at Oologah High School. Mr. Doss, in cooperation with Mrs. Radcliff and Mrs. Swant, will continue to ensure that the students of OLE have a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment in which to learn each day. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach Mr. Doss at (918) 443-6000, ext. 6041 or scott.doss@oologah.k12.ok.us. Thank you for your trust and for your support of Oologah Lower Elementary!

Good morning! We are still experiencing technology issues at this time. Our phones are still down and internet service is spotty. If you have an immediate need or need to make a transportation change, please email Carly Batson at carly.batson@oologah.k12.ok.us. Mrs. Batson has internet service and will be checking her email very regularly throughout the day. Thank you again for your patience and support. Have a fantastic Friday!

Good morning! We are experiencing technology issues that are impacting our internet and phone service. If you are attempting to reach us via phone and aren't able to get through, please send an email and we will do our best to respond as quickly as possible. We will update you when service has been restored. Thank you!

Good morning, OTPS families! Thank you so much for your patience and support as we dealt with the crazy weather last week. We are so happy to be back on campus! A special thanks to our operations crews who worked so hard to get campus back in shape after the snow!
In order to make up the time we missed last week, we will be in session on campus on May 16. We will also have distance learning days on March 14 and April 18. As you know, we have worked very hard to avoid using distance learning days because we truly believe our students learn best in person. However, using two distance learning days is the only option we have that doesn't require us to extend our school year. In the event that we have any future inclement weather days this spring, distance learning will be utilized.
Below is a list of the days that will be used to make up all the snow days taken throughout this year:
March 14 - Distance Learning
April 4 - In Person
April 11 - In Person
April 18 - Distance Learning
April 25 - In Person
May 2 - In Person
May 9 - In Person
May 16 - In Person
Again, thank you for your support and understanding! Please let us know if you have any questions!

Good morning, Mustang Families! We're sure it's no surprise, but tomorrow will be another snow day. Students are also off on Friday for Parent-Teacher Conferences, so we will welcome everyone back on Monday. We will also be reaching out on Monday with the plan for making up yesterday and today, as well as any conferences that have been cancelled. We can't wait for the beautiful weather next week so we can see everyone back at school! Be safe and warm, and have a wonderful Wednesday!

Good afternoon! We hope everyone is staying warm and safe in this snowy weather! Tomorrow will be another snow day for OTPS, and no work will be assigned. Today is our last built-in snow day, so any other snow days this week will have to be made up. As a reminder, Friday is already a day off for students due to Parent-Teacher Conferences. We will send details regarding making up snow days and Parent-Teacher Conferences (if needed) on Monday. Have a wonderful day, and stay warm!

Due to the inclement weather predicted for tomorrow, OTPS will be closed on Tuesday, 2/18. This will be a traditional snow day, and no work will be assigned for students. Please stay warm and safe!

Good morning OTPS families, and Happy President's Day! We are keeping a very close eye on the weather throughout today and will make a final determination about school sometime after 6:00. If we have to close for a snow day, we will send text and email messages. We will also send updates to our OTPS website and app and the local news stations. There is one remaining snow day in our calendar, so if we are closed tomorrow no work will be sent for students. As always, we appreciate your patience and understanding while we make the best decisions to keep our students safe!

Good morning! Tonight's junior high basketball games have been cancelled. Thank you!

Correction, there is NO SCHOOL on Monday, 2/17, due to President's Day. We will welcome students back on Tuesday. Thank you!

Out of an abundance of caution, we will be taking another snow day tomorrow. We apologize for the later notice, but we have been hoping that roads would improve enough that it would be safe for students to come to school. However, the roads on the north end of the district are still icy and slick. As a reminder, students are already off for Teacher Collaboration Day on Friday, so we look forward to seeing our students back on Monday. Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Good morning! Due to the weather conditions, we will be taking a snow day today. No work will be assigned for students. Enjoy the day off, and please stay safe and warm!
