Dear Parents and Guardians,
Due to the recent threats that have taken place at Union Public Schools, we are reaching out in an over abundance of caution to inform you that the safety of our students is our number one priority. We are in communication with teachers and staff, upper admin, as well as our school resource officer to ensure extra safety measures are in place. This is not to alarm out students and families, but rather to provide peace of mind in knowing your students are safe and taken care of while they are at school. While there have not been any immediate threats specifically to OTPS, we will have limited access to our buildings, as well as increased admin presence in hallways and at recess. As always, please do not hesitate to call the school with any questions or concerns. Respectfully, Hilary Morsey OUE Principal

Our Mustangs take the field tonight at 8 pm! Please review the rules we have posted on our Facebook page. Gates open at 6:30 pm, and we ask that all students please leave footballs at home. The expectation of Oologah Public Schools is that all children will be supervised by their parents in the stands. We look forward to seeing you all! Go Mustangs!

Tomorrow is game day and we are partnering with OHS to show our school pride! OHS students will sell game day ribbons for $1.00 and temporary tattoos for .50 cents. Wear your blue tomorrow! Go Mustangs!

Good morning! Please see our Facebook page for first day procedures tomorrow. We are so excited to see all of your smiling faces in the morning! Doors will open at 7:15 for those students who need breakfast. If your child does not need breakfast, please drop them off closer to 7:30-7:40. We ask that parents please stay in their cars when dropping children off. We will have plenty of teachers stationed outside and throughout the building to help your child get to the cafeteria in the morning. We are looking forward to a wonderful year! Go Mustangs!

Good morning, OUE families! Friendly reminder, class lists will be posted to our front doors today, Friday, Aug. 11, at 4 pm! We kindly ask that you please refrain from taking pictures of the lists. Lists will be posted through Meet the Teacher, which is Monday, Aug. 14 from 6-8 pm. No appointments necessary for OUE Meet the Teacher--please come anytime at your convenience during that timeframe. You may bring your child's school supplies and medication if needed. We will have tables set up during Meet the Teacher with information and samples from our new food service company, as well as a table for you to view your child's classroom curriculum. We are SO excited to see all of your smiling faces, and I especially look forward to meeting all of you! Attention 3rd grade parents:
Tomorrow is Will Rogers Play Day! If your child does not have a costume from school, please have them wear their play attire to school tomorrow for dress rehearsal and practice performance. For the evening performance, students need to be dropped off at the front of the Upper Elementary at 6:15 to get dressed and lined up. Mrs. Adkins and Mrs. Noble will help them get to their classrooms. Once you drop your child off, please head to the auditorium. The performance will begin at 7:00. If you have any questions, please contact your child’s teacher.
