As a friendly reminder, if your child is a car rider, please do not drop them off in the parking lot and allow them to cross. All car riders need to be dropped off in the car line. This is for the safety of all students and staff. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.

We hope you can join us for our annual For the Love of Books literacy night on Thursday, 2/15, from 5:30 - 7:30! We'll have lots of fun literacy activities, treat bags, face painting, and the book fair will be open. Every fourth OUE student through the doors will receive a golden ticket for the book vending machine. ❤️📚🩷

Good evening, Mustangs! As you know, there is some unpredictable weather coming our way for the next few days! I want to assure you that we are diligently following weather reports and will update families as soon as we possibly can if school needs to be called off. If school is closed, we will send a text message to all families through our messaging system, and we will update our school social media and website. We will also notify area television stations. Have a great evening, and stay safe and warm!
Dear OUE Families,
Please note—school is NOT cancelled for tomorrow, but in an effort to be prepared for any inclement weather, your child’s teacher has assembled “in case of virtual day” work. You will find this in your student’s backpacks. We ask that you please leave it there until we have to utilize it for a distance day due to weather. We will stay in communication with you as needed. Please continue to send your child to school with a coat labeled with their name. If your child is in need of a coat, please reach out to their teacher or Mrs. Morsey. As long as the wind chill is 40 degrees, we will have outside recess. Thank you for your support!

Tomorrow's dress up theme is Snowman Day!
Tomorrow begins our holiday dress up days! OUE will kick off the week with hats and festive head wear. See everyone tomorrow!
Cookie dough orders from the fundraiser will arrive on Monday! If your child has a large order that they will not be able to carry home, please make arrangements to pick it up on Monday between 1 and 4 pm. Orders will need to be picked up Monday as we do not have room to store the cookie dough. Thank you!
Friendly reminder that tomorrow is a distance learning day and students will need to complete their work at home to be counted present. Teachers will be available if your child has questions. There is no school next week, Nov. 20-24. Happy Thanksgiving! We are thankful for each of you!
